Some grand news amidst all the bad news

So much bad news surrounds us lately. Most of it beyond bad, in fact. Bad news about the pandemic, about politics, about inexplicable injustices and more batters our brains and hurts our hearts pretty much every single day beyond anything we might have imagined mere months ago.

Yet amidst all that bad news, I have some good news.

Some grand news.

Grand news that makes Benjamin a big brother …

… and James a big brother (again) too.

Grand news that gives Camden, Brayden, and Declan another Colorado cousin …

… and gives Jim and me another local grandbaby.

Grand news with a headline you’ve surely guessed, that happy headline being:

Brianna and Patrick are having a baby!

Such grand news admittedly doesn’t eliminate all the bad but it sure as heck makes what’s happening in the world a wee bit more bearable.
