I like comedies. I like crime capers.

I like bunnies and foxes and sloths.

I definitely like sloths!

I like Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, J.K. Simmons, Octavia Spencer, Bonnie Hunt, Tommy Chong, and Shakira, too.

And I like Raymond Persi. As a sloth.

Those are just some of the reasons I liked Disney's ZOOTOPIA. If you like those things, you'll like ZOOTOPIA, too. So will your kids and grandkids — no matter their ages.

Disney's ZOOTOPIA appeals to all ages, drives home the message for one and all that we shouldn't judge a book by its cover nor an animal by its fur and features.

ZOOTOPIA tells the tail, er, tale of bunny Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin), who always and forever hoped to become a cop. Despite naysayers nagging her about her unrealistic dream — she is just a cute little bunny — Judy refuses to give up on her goal. Even when the position she finally lands as the first bunny in the Zootopia Police Department proves far more challenging than she expected. Especially because Chief Bogo (Idris Elba) refuses to assign her detective duty from her very first day on the job.

A run-in with a clever con-artist fox named Nick Wilde (Justin Bateman) puts Judy smack dab in the center of the city's most pressing crime — providing the perfect opportunity for Judy to prove her crime-fighting ability to those who doubted her.

ZOOTOPIA serves up the silly for the younger set, yet hands out plenty of humor only adults will get. We old folks understand how perfectly cast the sloths running the DMV, the Vito Corleone-like character who saves Judy's tail, the absurdity of Tommy Chong's laid-back Yax the Yak. And fans of Breaking Bad will laugh out loud at a few antics, too (which I won't spoil here).

Of course, ZOOTOPIA is primarily for the kids, and Disney has come up with some fun to go along with the film, fun aimed directly at the little ones.

First, ZOOTOPIA coloring sheets. Eight of them, of Judy, Nick, Chief Bogo and more. Click on the graphic below to access the PDF, then print pages for the youngsters. (Come to think of it, coloring has made a comeback for adults, so go ahead and print them for the oldsters, too.)

Second, a ZOOTOPIA hexaflexagon, a "magic mathematical shape that you can keep flipping into itself to reveal hidden pictures." Click the colorful graphic then print and follow the directions.
