Here and now: March 3, 2016
It's been a while since I've shared what's happening right here, right now in my world. Here goes:
On my mind...
My dad. The week I found out Lyla had brain cancer, I also found out my dad was diagnosed with a relatively rare form of cancer that's, kind of, a precursor to leukemia, something called Myelodysplastic Syndrome. He's not well, was in ICU earlier this week. The prognosis is not good, he won't be cured, he doesn't have long to live. He's constantly on my mind, constantly in my prayers.
Reading...
An ARC of As Close to Us as Breathing by Elizabeth Poliner, which will be in stores March 15.
Watched...
A screening of ZOOTOPIA with Brianna and Andrea the other night. We wore fox ears.
ZOOTOPIA, which opens in theaters Friday, will be my Saturday movie review this week. On Saturday. Stay tuned.
Working on...
The truth? Not what I should be.
Listening to...
Pearl Jam's cover of "Forever Young," live, on my Q2 WiFi radio.
Looking forward to...
Jim's birthday was yesterday, and I gave him tickets to see Shinedown March 13. I look forward to them playing this song (at least I hope they will... acoustic).
The last photo on my phone...
Abby and Mickey (almost) snuggling up. I posted it on Instagram, so you may have seen it (mostly because my Instagram feed is in my sidebar to the right). :-D
Abby (cat) and Mickey have become best buds since Lyla's passing. #catsanddogs #BFFs #threesacrowd

Today's question:
What's going on right here, right now in your world?
